Program Highlights
Our mission here at Immanuel Lutheran Childhood Center is to provide comprehensive childcare for children and families.
We believe that each child is an individual
who deserves to be respected and appreciated for his or her own
unique character.
We believe that young children learn best by active interactions with their
peers and the environment.

We believe that the best curriculum for young children is one that provides for growth in all areas of
development:
- Social: Interactions with peers and adults
- Emotional: Affirmation, expression, and understanding of a child's own feelings and others' feelings
- Physical: Large and small muscle skills, awareness of his or her body's capabilities
- Cognitive, intellectual and
creative: Basic concepts and problem-solving skills
that will lay the foundation for future learning.
Hence, we have chosen The Creative Curriculum to base our programs on here at ILCC. This, along with loving, nurturing staff and fun, safe and thriving learning environments supports an exceptional early childhood education for your child.
Each
child is offered group experiences, one-on-one interactions, as well
as time to play alone if he or she chooses. Children are encouraged
to participate in activities, but are never forced to do so. The
activity plan for the week is posted for your review and we
encourage families to participate in our curriculum activities as
often as they desire. We offer children an opportunity to play
outdoors daily, in our natural playground, weather permitting.
